I'm starting to prepare my Venezuelan siskins for posture and color competitions, and I wanted to share some details that have worked for me 😄
For example, lately I've been using a special seed mix for Venezuelan siskins, with a good proportion of canary seed, niger seed, and nutrient-rich seeds, to help them with feather shine and daily energy.
I'm also paying close attention to the lighting and ventilation times in the aviary, because I've read that this can influence them to be more active and have better posture during competitions.
Does anyone else have tricks or methods to improve the color or posture of their siskins before shows? I'd love to exchange experiences! 👀
